Having a Great time at the Atlanta Zoo

There are plenty of adult things to do in Atlanta but when children are involved, it is important to take them to educational locations that are fun and provide plenty of great things to do. Of course this is not always possible during a trip but when you do get a chance, taking children to the Atlanta Zoo is a great experience for both young ones and adults. The Zoo is very large and provides a wide variety of animals on exhibit that will surely captivate the young minds that visit. It is a great place to go that will not drain you of your money unless you wish to buy a lot of things from the gift shops, but it all benefits the animals at the Zoo!

Getting a chance to see such a great Zoo during a vacation or simple trip is not always possible but to make chances of seeing great attractions like this possible, it is important to have a reliable form of transportation available. This is possible through the use of a rental car vehicle which is available for you to reserve online at any time for a great low rate. Car rentals offer you the ability to come and go as you please from several different locations during your trip and also give you greater control over your fuel usage. Make sure that you take the time to look into car rental options when staying in Atlanta for extended periods of time because it will often cost less than using cabs or riding the bus. Although riding a bus is not expensive, it is time consuming and you do not have control of where you go!

Grab a Drink in Atlanta

If you are visiting Atlanta and have had a long day of meetings, getting a drink probably sounds like an excellent idea. If you are driving a rental car, it’s important that you drink moderately, but as an adult over the age of twenty-one, there’s no reason that you can’t go relax with a few drinks and then drive back to your hotel room later to get some sleep.

If you are looking for a great place to grab a drink in Atlanta, here are some recommendations for you:

The Northside Tavern: If you are a fan of the wine sold at Trader Joe’s known as “Two Buck Chuck,” you can get a full glass here for; yes, you guessed correctly - $2. Add to this the fact that free live blues bands play here throughout the week, and you have an excellent dive bar where you can kick back and simply enjoy yourself.

Mary’s: Although this bar isn’t necessarily for everyone (although anyone should be able to have a good time here), if you are looking for a bar with a gay friendly atmosphere, Mary’s won’t let you down. Best of all, the bartenders are not only friendly, but they’re very fast at pouring drinks.

Elliot Street Deli and Pub: This place is the epitome of what a great local hangout should be. With great jazz music, drinks that are always cold and delicious sandwiches that can’t be beat, you can always count on having a fun time when you go to Elliot Street Deli and Pub. If you find yourself in Atlanta over the weekend, you can get a great brunch from here on Sunday.
