Depending on what time you go, you might be able to catch the broadcast of a news program. An ever popular story amongst travelers is that CNN anchors only look presentable above the waist.

If you happen to find yourself near downtown, an off-the-beaten-path tour is that of the Georgia Dome. Home to the Atlanta Falcons and host to dozens of events every year, the Georgia Dome offers a unique tour that costs a mere $5 for adults. In the tour you get a tour of not only the public places in the dome, but the private areas as well. See how it is to live on the other side. Definitely a one of a kind experience.

While you’re downtown you can drop by Atlanta’s fantastic aquarium, one of the newest attractions in town. The aquarium boasts an amazing 100,000 animals across 500 difference species in 8 million gallons of water. An inspirational stop can be found at The King Center. Established in 1964, the center is dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.. The exhibits there help illustrate his life and teachings of justice, equality, and peace. The King Center delivers a unique interactive learning experience, utilizing a combination of audio, video, film, and other forms of media to reach out far beyond the boundaries of Atlanta.

For all the coke lovers out there, the World of Coca Cola is the holy grail of destinations. There’s plenty of interactive exhibits, but looking at the bottling process is an eye popping experience for most.
