I think it is safe to say that the holidays are my favorite time of the year. I honestly like everything about the holiday season. From getting to spend time with my family to eating great food to even small things like the weather, the holiday season puts me in such a great mood. I know that the holidays are a depressing time for some people, but I could not be more happy during this time of the year.

The place where I have gone to spend Christmas for as long as I can remember is Atlanta. I am fortunate enough to still have my Grandma in my life, and we still honor her and everything she has done for our family by holding Christmas at her house.

In the past, we used to get to Atlanta by flying. However, this turned into more and more of an inconvenience every year, so we finally made the decision that it would be easier to get a rental car and drive to Atlanta. This was the first year that we got there by rental car, and while it might sound crazy, it was honestly easier and less stressful than trying to fly.
