Whether for business or personal enjoyment, I have been to most of the major cities in the US multiple times. However, until last month, one of the only major cities I had not visited was Atlanta. I had always heard that Atlanta was a great city, but I had simply never experienced it for myself.
When my boss asked if I would be interested in visiting Atlanta, I immediately told her yes. Even though she told me that I would have transportation from the airport to my hotel and then to both of the meetings I needed to attend, I decided that I wanted to rent a car so I would be able to explore the city when I wasn’t in one of my meetings.
I had my travel agent arrange for my car rental, and when I arrived in Atlanta, my rental car was waiting for me at my hotel. I am very happy I rented a car because it made my Atlanta vacation much more enjoyable.
So, if you have never been to Atlanta and get an opportunity to go, I highly recommend that you rent a car so you will be able to spend time experiencing the city.
