Do you like saving money? I do, and I’m not ashamed to say it. I don’t understand why anyone would want to pay more money for something than they need to. If you can save yourself money by spending just a little bit of time looking for a better deal, then I think that’s what any logical person would want to do.

If you want a recent example of how I saved money, let’s take a look at my trip to Atlanta last month. At the beginning of last month, I took a five day trip to Atlanta to visit my parents. I grew up in Atlanta, but moved to a different state for college (and then ended up being offered a job in another different state). However, regardless of where I live, Atlanta will always be home to me.

Even though I was going to be staying at my parent’s house, I didn’t want them to have to drive back and forth from the airport for me, so I decided to rent a car for myself. Now, I could have been lazy and waited until I arrived in Atlanta to get a rental car. But, by taking just a few minutes before my trip to make my reservation online, I was able to save myself quite a bit of money on my car rental in Atlanta.
